Some History...

Bootstrap Service was formed by two seasoned Service professionals who felt that small and medium sized businesses would benefit a great deal from timely access to senior-level Service knowledge and experience at a price that was affordable.

In difficult economies the need to deliver superior customer service is paramount to customer loyalty, customer retention, and top line revenue growth. Service is NOT "just a cost". Unfortunately many businesses either cannot justify the investment in full-time Service leadership, or would benefit from an objective analysis of how their business is performing against their customer’s expectations, or in some cases against their own internal expectations. Lester Thornsberry - President

Lester brings over 30 years of experience in Service execution for small, medium, and global Fortune 1k businesses alike. Before co-founding Bootstrap Service, Lester was Vice President of Global Service for Motion Computing, a leading manufacturer of mobile computing solutions in Central Texas. Prior to Motion, Mr. Thornsberry spent a decade as Vice President of Worldwide Customer Service for Fujitsu Computer Systems.

Jay Grady - Vice President, Client Services

Jay has spent the last 17 years helping technology companies build, scale, manage, and improve their Service and Customer Technical Support operations. His career, dominated by young companies that got big, has spanned both Enterprise software companies such as Vignette, hi-tech hardware such as Motion Computing, and high-volume contact centers bought by Sears.

As a result of this broad set of experience Jay brings a wide range of technological understanding, Service Marketing skill, and hands-on implementation know-how that can be applied to any size Customer Service and Support organization.
